Navicat Premium alternatives: DBeaver, Beekeeper Studio, TablePlus, DbGate and 2 more. Prices and licenses checked October 23, 2026.

Verdict:Navicat Premium is sold as perpetual per-user licenses, and the store lists no amount, only volume discounts of 15% for 5 to 9 licenses and 20% for 10 or more. If you are weighing that cost against free tools, DBeaver Community is the most direct swap: Apache-2.0 and it connects to many databases. DbGate is a lighter open-source option under GPL-3.0. Beekeeper Studio has a clean interface and a free Community Edition for solo users and small firms, with a paid Indie plan at $9 per user a month billed yearly. TablePlus is the pick if you want a fast native paid client; its free version is limited to two tabs and two windows, and the full license is a one-time $99 or $129. If you only use PostgreSQL, pgAdmin is free. If you only need to fix a row on a server, Adminer is one PHP file. The trade-off is feature depth. Navicat's data transfer, structure sync, modelling and report tools are mature, and the free clients cover fewer of them, so teams that sync schemas between environments daily should test the free tools before they leave. Individual developers who mostly write queries lose little by switching.

Navicat Premium is sold as a per-user perpetual license, with one year of maintenance included. Further one- or two-year maintenance, which covers upgrades, live chat and technical support, is bought separately. Volume discounts start at 15% for five licenses.
