Verdict:Koyfin is worth keeping if you actually use its custom dashboards, macro views and a handful of screens every week, because the free plan already includes those with trimmed history: 2 years of financials, 1 year of estimates, 2 watchlists and 2 screens. The step up to Plus is $39 a month, and Premium is $79, so the first question is whether the free limits really block you. If they do, the cheapest like-for-like swap is TIKR: its free plan shows 5 years of financials and 8 quarters for US stocks, and Plus is $24.95 a month. StockAnalysis is the cheapest paid route at $8.25 a month billed annually, but it is a research site, not a dashboard builder. If you came to Koyfin for charts, TradingView's free Basic plan is the better home, though it caps you at 1 saved layout and 2 indicators per chart. Finviz is the quickest screener when you only want to filter stocks, and Yahoo Finance covers casual portfolio tracking at no cost. OpenBB is for people comfortable in Python who want to wire up their own data. The trade-off to accept is polish: every free replacement gives up Koyfin's single workspace for several tabs or some coding. Leave Koyfin when the paid price is the problem and your use is simple lookups. Stay if the dashboards are what you open each morning.

Koyfin today: Free (Free plan: 2 years of financials and 1 year of estimates, 2 watchlists, 2 screens, 2 custom dashboards, limited company snapshots and news); paid from $39 per month, billed monthly (Plus) (Koyfin pricing, checked 2026-10-22).

Why people look for Koyfin alternatives

Koyfin's free plan is deliberately narrow: 2 years of financials and 1 year of estimates, 2 watchlists, 2 screens, 2 custom dashboards, limited company snapshots and limited news. Plus is $39 per month billed monthly and brings 10 years of data, unlimited watchlists and screens, the stock and ETF screener, filings and transcripts. Custom data, custom formulas, financial templates and portfolio analytics need Premium at $79. Annual prices are not listed, only savings of up to 30%.
