Verdict:Hostinger sells shared hosting: a control panel, a site and a cheap monthly plan, which suits a brochure site or a basic WordPress install. People leave when the site outgrows shared resources, when they want a modern deploy flow or when they need a server rather than a panel. The key question is what kind of site you run. For static pages or a frontend framework, Netlify and Vercel both have free plans with fast global hosting, but neither runs a PHP and MySQL stack, so a WordPress site does not move there without a rebuild. Render has a free tier for web services and databases and is the closer fit for an app that needs a running process. Coolify is open source and deploys to a VPS you control, which means cheaper running costs and the work of patching and backing up. Oracle's always-free tier gives you a real virtual machine at no fixed fee, which is powerful for someone willing to administer a Linux box and hard for anyone who is not. Match the host to the site type first, then decide how much server work you want.
