Verdict:Outreach shows no dollar amounts on its pricing page: plans list AI credits, say pricing is custom, and point to a quote form. That alone is a reason many small teams look elsewhere, since you cannot compare cost before talking to sales. If you are a small team, you probably do not need an enterprise engagement platform. HubSpot's free CRM covers contacts for 2 users and 1,000 contacts without a time limit, and Apollo's free plan adds a contact database with Gmail sending. Mixmax gives a free sequence tier with a hard cap. For teams that still want a dedicated tool, Instantly publishes a price at $37.60 a month yearly, which is useful when you need a number. Salesloft and Reply.io are the nearest paid rivals; neither lists a price, so treat them as a negotiation, not a saving. The trade-off is depth: Outreach is built for managers who want forecasting, call recording and rep coaching, and the cheaper tools give you sequences and little else. If your team is under ten reps and your manager checks the CRM, you can leave. If you need audit-ready reporting, stay.

Why people look for Outreach alternatives

Outreach shows no prices: each of its four tiers, Essentials, Core, Plus and Pro, has a Request pricing button. Cost is built from per-user seats plus consumption-based AI credits (10,000 on Essentials up to 100,000 on Pro), and the page says it depends on team size, usage volume, the number of AI workflows and the capabilities needed. Extra credit packs, data sharing, connectors and additional instances are priced separately.
