Verdict:JSFiddle is a small, old tool. It is free to use; check its pricing page for paid plans. People look elsewhere when they want private work, a bigger project, or a more active community. CodePen is the obvious swap for sharing front-end demos: the Free plan has unlimited public Pens with three files each, and Starter is $8 per month billed annually. StackBlitz suits projects that need packages, since its Personal plan includes unlimited public projects and GitHub repositories. CodeSandbox covers similar ground. PlayCode has a free plan with private projects, and Replit is a cloud IDE that costs $18 per month billed annually on Core. The trade-off is simplicity. JSFiddle opens fast and does one thing, while every alternative is built for something bigger. Stay if all you do is share a snippet in a bug report or forum post. Leave if you need private work without paying, or if the snippet has outgrown a single page.

Why people look for JSFiddle alternatives

JSFiddle's PRO plan is advertised at 8 euros a month or a one-time 80 euros for one year. Without it, ads appear in the editor and on listing pages, and private fiddles and private collections are PRO features, as are Fiddle Pages with a custom domain and vanity path. The home page also asks free users to whitelist the site in their content blocker instead of paying. Public demos stay free, but keeping snippets private means paying.
