Verdict:Leave Omnisend when most of your revenue flows through a store and you no longer need its ecommerce automations, or when a larger list makes its per-contact pricing hard to justify. Its free tier caps you at 250 contacts and 500 emails a month, so the switch makes sense only once you outgrow that. For the closest like-for-like swap, Klaviyo keeps the free 250-profile and 500-send limits and goes further with store data, but it costs more once the list grows. MailerLite is the cheaper choice for a smaller list, with 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails free and a paid plan from $12 a month. Brevo offers 300 free emails a day with no time limit, which suits bursts of sends rather than automations. If you have developers and want to avoid monthly fees, listmonk runs on your own server, but you must set up SMTP and maintain it. Systeme.io bundles funnels and email, which suits creators rather than stores. Choose by how much store data drives your emails: heavy product-based flows point to Klaviyo, while simple broadcasts point to MailerLite or Brevo.
