Verdict:Leave Sendible when you post for one or two brands and never use its agency controls. Sendible offers a 14-day trial and no free plan, so check its pricing page for current plan prices before you budget. Buffer's free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each, and Metricool's covers one brand with 20 posts a month, so a solo operator can test a posting routine for nothing. Publer's free plan allows one user and three accounts, though not X. These are fine when the job is scheduling your own accounts. Once you manage several clients from one login, the free tiers run out quickly and you need a paid plan anyway. Buffer's Essentials is $5 per channel a month billed annually, which is a clear number to compare once you have counted your channels. Later and SocialBee have no free plan, and SocialBee's Bootstrap is $24 a month billed annually. Stay on Sendible if your client approvals and reporting already run inside it, because moving those workflows costs more than the subscription. Otherwise, start with the free tier that matches your account count.

Why people look for Sendible alternatives

Sendible's lowest plan, Core, covers 1 workspace and 6 social profiles, with 10 smart queues and 100 daily post sends per workspace. Assignment and approvals start at Plus, content libraries, branded reports and campaigns at Premium, and advanced user permissions at Elite, while white label is a paid add-on on Elite and Enterprise. Annual billing is labelled as saving 15%, and the page offers a 14-day trial with no card.

Buffer

Compared with Sendible: Free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each. Sendible has no free plan, only a 14-day trial, so Buffer lets you test scheduling at no cost, but you give up Sendible's agency-style multi-client setup.

Price: Free (3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel); paid from $5 per channel/month, Essentials, billed annually ($60 a year) (Buffer pricing, checked 2026-10-22).

Platforms and license: Web. Proprietary.

Best for: Solo creators on a free tier.

Metricool

Compared with Sendible: Free plan covers one brand, 20 scheduled posts a month and 30 days of analytics. Compared with Sendible's trial-only access, Metricool keeps a permanent free tier, though the free plan is too small for a client roster.

Platforms and license: Web. Proprietary.

Best for: Single-brand posting with analytics.

Publer

Compared with Sendible: Free plan allows one user, three social accounts (not X) and 10 scheduled posts per account. Against Sendible's paid-only model, Publer is cheaper per seat, but its free tier has a 24-hour post history and no agency role for several clients.

Platforms and license: Web. Proprietary.

Best for: Small teams on a budget.

Best for: Visual Instagram-first scheduling.

SocialBee

Compared with Sendible: Bootstrap is $24 a month billed annually after a 14-day trial with no free plan. Compared with Sendible, SocialBee charges less at entry, but it covers scheduling and evergreen posting rather than agency reporting.

Platforms and license: Web browser. Proprietary SaaS.

Best for: Evergreen content recycling.
