Verdict:Leadpages lists plans from Pro at $29 a month through Scale at $399, with a 7-day trial and no free plan, and annual billing takes 20% off. For a founder with one lead-capture page, that is a lot to pay each month. Carrd is the cheapest honest answer: a free tier and $9 a year for Pro Lite. Add a form service and you have a working capture page. Systeme.io and MailerLite both give you a free plan that includes pages and the email list in one place, which is usually why people were paying for Leadpages in the first place. Framer suits designers who want fine control, and WordPress.com suits people who want the landing page to become a full site later. What you lose: Leadpages is built for conversion tuning, with popups and testing aimed at marketers, and the cheaper tools offer less of that. If you are not running split tests today, you are paying for features you do not use. Rebuild your best-performing page first, point the same domain at it, and compare form completion for two weeks before cancelling.
