Verdict:Leave Wistia when you pay for its marketing features and only embed clips on a website. Its Business plan at $79 a month billed annually is the number that pushes most small teams out, and the free plan (25 GB storage, 200 GB bandwidth, Wistia branding on videos) is only a trial. If your clips can be public, YouTube is the cheapest exit: it costs nothing, but you lose private embeds and branded players, and viewers see YouTube's interface. Vimeo fits a small business library on a free plan. Its unlimited storage covers only public videos that cannot be embedded, so keep the clips that go on your own pages within the 3 GB allowance. Vidyard suits sales outreach, but its free plan caps you at 5 videos a month. If you push a large volume of video and want to pay for bytes, bunny.net bills by usage with a $1 monthly minimum, and Cloudflare Stream starts at $5 per 1,000 stored minutes. Both are cheaper per gigabyte at scale, but you build the player and the page yourself. Stay with Wistia if your lead capture and branded player already produce sales. Leave if you only need the video to load fast on a page.

Why people look for Wistia alternatives

Wistia's free plan allows one user, 25 GB of storage, 200 GB of bandwidth and Wistia branding on videos. Removing the branding, collections and channels, heatmaps, A/B testing and CSV export need Business at $79 per month billed annually, which includes 3 users; extra users cost $25 each. Marketing integrations and lead scoring sit in Signals, which lifts the price to $329 per month, and SSO is Enterprise-only. Storage beyond the plan is billed by usage or prepaid.
